Help with subnetting test.

i have a big test on thrusday and i need some help. im fine with practical part of it but i need some help with subnetting.

Admit Soutions has just opened a new office in Dalas. They have asked you to install and configure the networking service for their network.

They want to mirror the set up of their office in New York, which consists of a Windows 2000 Server Domain Controller, a DNS server, a WINS server and DHCP server. They want all of the client computers to obtain their network configuration automatically.

The New York Branch currently owns an IP adress range of 192.12.5.0 and would like to split this up so that a portion of this range can be used for the Dalas office. Admit Solutions also have plans to expand next year into the LA and Las Vegas market and would also like you to allocate a portion of the IP address for this site.

Each site has no more than 25 computers, and there is only one server for installation of the above networking service.

Subnetting

You are required to work out in following information for New York, Dalas, LA and Las Vegas.

Learn to Subnet is a great website.

There are also plenty of free subnet calculators on the Internet that are web based or you can use SolarWinds Free Subnet calculator.
