problem getting my home network to work

it seems that when i try to ping the network card i get two ip address and so the pinging don't work can any one help please

can you tell me what your network setup is like? How many compters you have, whether you have a router or not, how they are all connected to each other, etc..

i am using a linksys hub with intel pro network card on the host and a linksys network card on the other computer

Let's start by doing this:

Start, Run, IPV6 uninstall

This will uninstall IPV6, which you don't need, and frequently causes issues with connectivity.

Reboot and post another IPCONFIG /ALL display.
