Can anyone tell me where to get step by step instructions for connecting an XP to 98 SE computer, I can`t seem to get it to work.

to make your XP to become a Server an to be a client your Win 98 Se this the step for the static connection networking:
Server: win xp go to network places an go to connection and then write click an click properties an you can c the sharing click that an then check box. client: win 98 se go to control panel an click network an then write click your ethernet an then properties put ip address like 192.168.0.2 an put the gateway like 192.168.0.1 an put the host name of your server i hope it can help you |
