Cannot get Ebay to load, but other sites work.

I have had a problem for the last 3 days. Both Firefox and Internet Explorer will not bring up Ebay on my other computer which is connected to this computer and the internet connection is shared. When i started up the computer on Thursday most of the sites would't load but I have got it down to just ebay now. Before that it worked fine. I don't know what happened. I've googled and googled and have read just about all the posts on the internet about people having similar problems. I even shut off ZoneAlarm and put it on the lowest level with no protection. It didn't work either.

The computer with the problem is windows xp, 1600 mhz, 256 RAM.

The "gateway" computer is windows xp, 2800 mhz, 1054 RAM, 56k modem. Running Zonealarm.

Then today, I set up a different computer as the client in the network instead of the one that originally had the problem. That computer has the same problem (It won't load ebay and several other sites just like the other client computer I had hooked up).

If anyone has any thoughts on what this problem would be, I would be very grateful for any input.

Re: Cannot get Ebay to load, but other sites work.

I am having the same problem exactly. I just turned off windows firewall so I'll reboot and see if that helps. It is so weird that it is only eBay. No one else is having this? Every other site works, too. It's like an eBay bug.

Sounds like an ISP or eBay issue.

Try this.

Start, run, CMD

TRACERT ebay.com

PS: suedarn, please start your own thread if you want to discuss your issue.
