Networking to printer via 802.11g

I'd like to print from my laptop to the printer upstairs over the wireless but reviews I am seeing of the Linksys and D-Link adapters for printers are discouragingly negative....would appreciate any guidance you can spare....thanks

Need more information!

What is your network configuration? Do you have a router? What model is it? What is the printer attached to...another computer?
