Problem with network controller...

Well here's my problem.
My motherboard is the ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe and I had my original drivers installed on my computer (From the CD) and my internet worked fine. After, my friend told me to install the latest motherboard drivers. After I installed the latest drivers and restarted my computer, my internet was not working at all. It says that I am connected to the local area connection but if I go on the internet, it does not work.

My family runs on a shared internet connection (with two other computers) and theirs all seem to be working fine.

What seems to be the problem here?

It sounds as if the incorrect drivers were installed for the network adapter.

Go into device manager, right-click on the network adapter and then properties. Choose the driver tab and then the option to roll back to previous driver. You may want to reboot the computer after the change.

Post back your results.
