Connection is right, Internet won't work through Router :/

I've got Bell Sympatico DSL-Basic Lite, and I just purchased a router the other day.
Anyways, so I connect the modem to the router's internet port, and the router to the computer. Done.
Now, As I go through the set-up, it cannot detect the internet connection.
No, there isn't a username and password that I have to enter to connect to the internet;
Also, if I connect the modem directly to the computer, it works.
And the router isn't faulty, because I tried it on my other computer.

I turned off Windows Firewall, and all that stuff. Don't know what else to do.

BTW; Router: Microsoft MN-700;
and I configured it to Dynamic IP.

Power cycle the modem when you change the device attached to it.
