Wireless----->PC------>Xbox
hello all, I connect to the internet through a wireless card that is connected through PCI or whatever it is called (the same thing as my phone modem is, if that helps you know what I mean) on my DESKTOP computer. My xbox 360 is like 10 feet away and I want to connect to it using a wired router (preferably) or a crossover cable (money eww, im a college student that blew all his money on teh system itself, and yes I realize the gramatical errors I am probably making).
How would I go about doing this? I tried plugging in the computer and the xbox to my wired router I have kicking around, but the computer gets confused and tries to use the wired connection that is only connected to the xbox 360 and not the internet instead of the wireless connection.(From what I can tell because if I disable it wireless internet works fine) How would I set this up? Please help because I have been bringing my system over to freinds houses to play on Live and it sucks! Thanks again and PS I like this forum, you all seem pretty helpful! |
