VPN Help

I have been able to vpn internally

But when i try to externally

) i get error 721(the remote computer did not respond)while it trys to verify my name and password(i have triple checked them).
(i have a d-link 604+)
Any Help apreciated

Externally meaning wireless ?
Did you check firewall settings on your router ?
You also might want to check if the modem is in bridge mode. Many times double network translation will interfere with VPN unless you have your router firewall setup for it.

Not sure why you would test a VPN from inside your network by going outside your network by using your Internet IP address.

What VPN software are you using?
