backup solution
hey guys, i need a backup solution for a network of about 35 machines. Need to do nightly server backups of about 5 gigs. what is the best solution do you all think?

Networked hard drive might also work. There are just hard drives in a box with usually a USB and Ethernet connection. Cost about $1 per GB these days, you can buy 2 and put them in a RAID configuration really easy. Keep on on site and take the other home!
I just do not know how long you need to retain the backup? JamesO |

That you not be too cost effective or wise with hard drives for lifetime storage, maybe you could use the hard drive for short term back up; days or weeks, then transfer to DVD or some other format once a week?
