presario 1220 won't detect my D-Link card
I have a laptop Compaq 1220 presario. I bought a AirPlus D-Link card to hook up to my wireless modem . The computer won't detect the card . I put in a credit card Xircom 10-100/ modem card and it is detected. What could be the problem with the wireless card and the slot?

Well, I'd first try it in another laptop, and if that succeeds, I'd contact D-Link. It's pretty difficult to say what's happening...
