Linksys WRK54G Router and Roadrunner cable connection
I am trying to set up a wireless network with my Roadrunner cable connection. The problem I am having is that I am unable to access the internet when the router (Linksys WRK54G) is connected to the cable modem. It almost seems like the cable modem doesn't like the ethernet connection. (I normally use a usb connection for my cable modem.) Any helpful hints? Thanks!

Turn off the router and modem. Connect the router to the modem. Turn on the modem, wait for a steady connection light. Turn on the router, wait a couple of minutes. Boot up the PC connected to the router, you should be connected.
