Printer sharing w/ Router (Mac computer and PC) help!
I have a Linksys BEFSR41 Router that connects my computer (PC-Win XP) and my girlfriend's computer (MAC OS X) to the internet. I have a printer connected to my computer that I would like to share with my gf's MAC cuz she doesnt have a printer. How do you do this? I have no clue. I have tried enabling and establishing a Network place (workgroup) but I don't see her computer and to me this wouldnt work as she has a different computer system. Should I connect my printer also to my router? Honestly I know Im asking something stupid, but really, I dont know how to go about and doing this, Linksys instructions are not too clear and don't specify how to install a printer server. Help me out. I would appreciate it.
