I'm sorry, but can you be a little more specific? Is it the LAN jack that you're having problems with or your actually local area network?

Please describe the problem you are having.
Start, Run, type "cmd", type "ipconfig /all >C:\ipconfig.txt". Leave out the quotes (""). Open C:\ipconfig.txt with Notepad and copy/paste the info back for review and comment. JamesO |

You might also consider telling us the version/patch level of Windows, since repair options differ with different Windows versions.

Please describe the problem you are having and what events occurred just before the problem started.
Start, Run, type "cmd", type "ipconfig /all >C:\ipconfig.txt". Leave out the quotes (""). Open C:\ipconfig.txt with Notepad and copy/paste the info back for review and comment. Try putting these IP address in your brower window and see what happens: 216.109.117.108 or 209.59.143.50 JamesO |
