How to Bridge a connection

Ok i was wondering how can i bridge a connection? I got a 2Wire HomePortal 1800HG modem it had 4 ethernet ports on it in the back what do i need to do to bridge the connection?

What are you bridging the connection to? Please provide more details.

I wanna bridge my xbox to my pc.I also got a dlink router if that hlps

You don't need to bridge anything. Connect each of the devices to the LAN ports of the router, job done.
