not printing
1st location hooked up WGR614 netgear wirless router, wireless works fine
wired from router straigt to computer does not find printer at second location have d link wired router netgear cable runs to it I can print there When i bring same laptop to 2nd location it does'n print-i moved the d-ling router to second location thinking maybe i need the router in between the netgear wirless and the computer it didn't work Last edited by t1stranger; 07-19-2005 at 11:19 AM. |

Not sure I follow you here.
I assume you are network printing to either a print server or a printer with a network card in it? How many printers are we talking about here? 1 or 2? If you have a wireless router connected to a wired router, you most likely have an IP address problem. You should turn off the DHCP on your wireless router, do not use the WAN port on the wireless router, plug into a LAN port between the wired router. This turns your wireless router into a wireless access point / Ethernet switch. This should sort any DHCP problems. JamesO |
