I am connected but I am not receiving packets?!?!
i do not know why, ive tried the ipconfig/release and renew commands but they dont work...
i am lost... |

we need a big more info on your network. how many computers are you running on your network? what broadband connection do you have? do you have route? switch? sorry if im annoying your with my questions but definitely more info is needed.

So you are on a differant internet connection and router than you were in the other post?
If so, you should go back to the xp post and tell them you no longer need help on that thread. You are getting a 169.x.x.x. ip address. This says that the router is not giving windows an ip address.

!!!! issue resolved! i dont know whath appened i just reinstalled linksys and everything changed everything got mad and just went crazy and now it works ^_^
thank you every1 who helped me! u dont know how much this means to me ive called dell like 4 times and stayed on the line for like 8 hours wahooo! i get packets! |
