having trouble creating a network between 2 pc's

Even though you think you have the same problem, we don't allow folks to hijack another person's thread and post their problem. It's also much easier to address problems one per thread.

Post a complete description of your problem, as well as the whole network configuration with make/model of any modems, routers, etc. Also the version/patch level of the Windows in use.
