wireless network problem

I cant get a LAN IP address from my wireless network.
I have a wired router and there is a few access points.
the access points are pingable but its not giving a dhcp address and the weird thing is that none of them are givin Ip addresses(have checked that they are set for DHCP). I had a spare AP and configured it and it was working fine but after a hour it stopped working. Even if I hard code a IP address to the wireless NIC I still cant connect to my network. Its telling me that Im connected to my wireless network and I have excellent signal. There is no MAC filtering on any of them. I have tried all the basic troubleshooting. This is drving me nuts and ideas.

If you're pinging, you have an IP address.

I suggest you start with specific make/model numbers of all the equipment in use. Have you reset the router back to factory defaults and started over? Also, disable any encryption until you get the basic link working.
