media state disconnected-xp
My belkin router works just fine. I'm having trouble connecting to IE. I've tried almost everything, renewing ip, winsock and I'm still not online. My other 2 computers aren't having this issue. Any luck?

Re: media state disconnected-xp
Hello dwnlstr and welcome to TSF!
Have you tried connecting directly to the Modem or the Router by using an ethernet cable? Are you able to connect? Are you able to ping the router using your wireless connection? For your wireless issue, you may try updating your wireless ethernet driver or uninstalling it: Here's the guide: Click on Start, right click My Computer => Properties => hardware tab => Device Manager => find your Network Adapters right click on the Ethernet Adapter (it might have a !)and choose Update Driver. If you have an ethernet driver CD for your Wireless adapter have it ready, this will be the last suggestion, choose Uninstall then re-install. Normally your Windows will do a Plug N play auto install for you, but just in case you might have your CD driver ready. If you do not have the Driver CD, you may google the driver.
