bridging or forwarding internet connection between to wireless routers
I have a zonet zsr1134we and dlink di-624 wireless router. The zonet is connected to the cable modem. I want to forward/bridge the wireless connection to the dlink. It will be connected to a xp desktop pc and vonage phone modem.
After reading both manuals and support documentation on these devices I am lost and have no idea were to start. My guess is the the zonet has to be in WDS+AP mode in order to send the wireless connection to the dlink. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Re: bridging or forwarding internet connection between to wireless routers
Well, the DI-624 doesn't support wireless bridge mode, so I don't see how you're going to use it in that capacity. This isn't a problem with the Zonet, it's simply a limitation of the D-Link router.

Re: bridging or forwarding internet connection between to wireless routers
thank you. where can i find a list of backwards compatible wireless n routers that support this function? I would like to make the N router one and the zonet router two, as previously mentioned in the setup. again i have no clue how to set the routers up so i would be starting up a new thread as soon as i get a hold of a compatible wireless n router.
thanks again |

Re: bridging or forwarding internet connection between to wireless routers
You need a wireless bridge. One device I've used here that's inexpensive and works well in wireless bridge mode is the ZyXEL P330W, I use one here.
