Install wua-2340 driver
The OS is XP-Pro on a p4 system on which the onboard nic stopped working some time ago. (I don't know why, but exploring that would be another post.)
For about a year or more I have been using a D-Link WUA-2340 wireless adapter for connection to my home network. But I recently did a fresh reload of XP and now the WUA-2340 is no longer providing a network connection. A little snooping revealed that the problem is my failure to re-install the required driver. Being organizationally challenged, I have misplaced the original WUA-2340 install CD. So I went to the D-Link site and downloaded a folder containing the XP driver and copied it to a USB flash drive. My question is how to install the driver into XP? There is a .dll file in the folder but nothing like a 'setup.exe', so I am confused about how to proceed. I would greatly appreciate some guidance on how to do the install. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. |

Re: Install wua-2340 driver
Go into Device Manager and tell it to update the driver, navigate to the folder with the downloaded drivers.
