Netgear wgr614v9 slowed down!
Okay so i have the Netgear wgr614v9 and recently the usb pen broke. So i got a new one and replaced it with a belkin usb pen. I used to be able to surf the net and play xbox live with no problems but now i can only do one or the other because of how slow either one is. can anyone offer a solution or shine any light on this matter. my xbox and my computer are both connected wireless with this router.
many thanks wrighty. |

Re: Netgear wgr614v9 slowed down!
I'm confused, how does the wireless adapter on the computer affect the XBOX communication with the router? Does this happen even when the computer is turned off?

Yeah i was confused too, when the computer is turned off/ or the pen is unplugged its fine. The internet on the computer is also alot slower so it must be the pen. Any thoughts pal?

Take that adapter back and get a different brand.
