Re: Keeps dropping connection

The problem is either with your hardware or your ISP.

Do you use any other applications that require a internet connection like MS Outlook or Outlook Express?

Check if connections drops for everything or just your web browser.

Re: Keeps dropping connection

You should first make sure you have the latest drivers for your NIC and if all seems well there I would contact the ISP to see if there is any reported trouble in with the service being provided in your area.

Re: Keeps dropping connection

Good luck we hope the ISP was honest about not having any service interruption in the area, well we will find out over the next few hours here.

Re: Keeps dropping connection

At least now when calling for support you will have something to go off of that would indicate a problem with the service and maybe you can request some credit in exchange for your heartache.
