Issue regarding internet
Hello everyone,
I am unsure how to place a name on this issue I am having so I'll try my best to describe what is happening. As of lately, I would be playing on Xbox Live(Call of Duty 4 for a example) and at every hour, I would either lag for 10 seconds, or be booted from the game lobby I was in. This also happens on my main computer as well as my secondary computer, expect for the booting since I don't play games on my computers. So today I decided to call my ISP and have them come in and check what's going on. Everything checks out to be ok and they issue me a new modem of the same type as the old one. I figured this would solve the issue but it has not. My modem is a Motorola SBG900 Surfboard. My Xbox is connected via wireless, my main computer is connected via USB port, and my secondary is connected via Ethernet port. I have tried multiple things and I am running out of options. Any help / tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Also, if you need anymore info from me I will gladly tell you. Edit: I forgot to mention that my connection type is Cable. Re: Issue regarding internet
Try connecting the XBOX directly to the modem using the Ethernet wired connection and see if the issue still happens.

Re: Issue regarding internet
Well, that appears to be something with the Motorola SBG900 or your ISP if it happens on the XBOX and the computer.
