How to setup VPN on ZyXEL P-335WT
My network first consists of an ZyXEL Prestige 2602R-61 from my ISP. After this I've a ZyXEL P-335WT.
In the administration interface on the P-335WT there is a option to activate two VPN IPSec connections. Thats what I want - but I can't get it to work. On the first router I've in the NAT forwarded all ports to the IP of my P-335WT router (192.168.1.3). Well, then on the P-335WT I've tried to setup a account for a VPN connection. In the attachment vpn01.jpg you can see how I setup the VPN rule. I both enter Local and Peer ID Type as my mail, but I really don't know what to enter here. In Windows 7 I try to connect to the VPN, but after some time it says: Connection failed with error 800: The remote connection was not made because the attempted VPN tunnels failed. The VPN server might be unreachable. If this connection is attempting to use an L2TP/IPsec tunnel, the security parameters required for IPsec negotiation might not be configured properly. When making the VPN connection in Windows 7 I enter my external IP-address (where I can connect eg. on port 80 to see my webserver) and as login the email and password entered on the router. What I'm doing wrong? Please help me! I can't find any how to's on Google. |
