Wireless Connection Issue
Hello, i am currently having a issue with my 3rd comp. It is on my wireless setup.
Its on a Linksys i can get model info. if needed the router is around 2 years old. I have three computers currently running on it. The issue i am running into is the third one being the farthest comp. away from the modem is geting very low sometimes no connection to the router. The other two being only around 15-25 feet from it get great connection. I would say the third one which is geting low connection is around 30-40 feet. It is running windows xp home 32 bit. It is a small dell only used for work nothing else. If anyone could help me with this situation it would be very appreciated thanks. I can get any info needed to solve issue. |

Re: Wireless Connection Issue
Hi
You could try getting a bigger antenna for either your router and/or your computer. Also, I recommend that if the computers connected by wireless connection are all in the same general direction away from the router, you can buy special antennas that will focus the signal in one general direction, instead of the default antennas sending it in all directions.
