Not recieving data

The PC running under windows XP does not receive any signal / data.

The office setup is as follows.

2x Mac OS X 10.4
1x Mac OS X 10.2
1x PC Windows Vista Home
1x PC Windows XP Home ver. 2002 SP3
2x PC (not setup yet)

We are using DSL and a Netgear Fast Ethernet Switch (Model: FS 116) to split the network connection.

The network and internet works fine on all the Macs and Vista. The PC with XP can not access the network nor the internet.

I've tried to repair and re-install the network but that didn't work. Played around with static IP config and alternative DNS, that didn't work either. So I'm out of ideas now.

Have you tried removing it and adding it again to the workgroup
can you ping any of the other pc's?
can you ping your network card? is your network card faulty?

Try turning off your firewall/s and see if the XP machine gets a connection.
