Can't Download Anything

I've been advised to try here by Ried from the virus help section. Recently had lots of problems including my anti virus and firewall stopping and when I try to download anything including safety updates etc for windows whatever I try to download just dissapears as soon as its finished downloading. I followed the advice from Reid but he said he couldn't find any virus? Do you guys have any ideas at all please? The PC isn't much use as it is..

For such issues, you'd be better served discussing this with the experts in the Networking Support section of this forum. I never did find any malware.
