Frustrating Internet connection issue

I have a really annoying problem that I haven't been able to figure out... I can browse the Internet just fine. But whenever I try a game, say PokerStars, it won't connect - it says the connection was refused. Also, my Playstation 3 will no longer connect to Playstation Online.

What's really frustrating is we have three computers on our network... I have two, and my girlfriend has one... and it doesn't work on either of my computers, but it works great on hers!

The only thing that makes any sense to me is that there's something on my computers conflicting with the Internet connection for everything except Internet browsing. But I can't figure out what! And if that were the case, why would the Playstation not work any more? On my computer, all I have is the Vista firewall and AVG Free. I ran the Norton removal tool just in case but no luck.

I'm running Vista 64-bit on one computer and Vista 32-bit on the other computer that don't want to work right. Latest patches just short of Vista SP1. I have a NetGear WRT54G wireless router -- one computer is wired to the router, the other is running over wireless.

By the way, I'm an IT professional, which makes me frustrated even more because I should be able to figure this out!

Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
