I am using a motorola sbg900 gateway. which is a modem and router combo. I am running the internet for my pc off wireless while my xbox is hardwired. I have forwarded the ports 6112-6119 and changed to a static ip address and i have also removed those ports from the firewall. But i still cannot host on wc3 for some reason. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Unable to host in wc3
Hi and welcome to TSF!
Is the Motorola SB900 the only external device you use for Internet? Also, download and install the PF port checker to see if the ports are really open.

Re: Unable to host in wc3
You do only have those ports opened for the computer, or just 1 network device, correct?

Re: Unable to host in wc3
Try putting your computer in the router's DMZ, which will open all ports and all protocols. If you still can't host after doing that, however, then I recommend disabling it, as it is a big security risk to leave it enabled.
