Resetting a LinkStation HD-H250LAN
Hello
I recently acquired a Buffalo LinkStation Network Storage device from my parents, as they had no use for it, and I want to use it on the network I am setting up at my new home. So I have all of my computers set up wirelessly on the network, and I plugged the Linkstation directly into the router. The only problem is that my parents' user name and password are blocking any kind access from the Linkstation, and they have absolutely no idea what it is (typical of them... )So I want to know if there is any way to hard reset the device so it can be used again. It doesn't matter if I have to lose all of the data on the hard drive because my parents had long since upgraded to a newer Linkstation, and moved all of the data. Any kind of help at all would be very much appreciated! ![]() Cheers, Tim |
