This is something that has ben bugging me for some time and it's not even my pc, it's my sister's. I'd be grateful for any advice.
The pc ( Windows XP) she got from e-bay of all places, I think it's one that got rebuilt...For a low low price I added AVG Free, but the problem is it won't allow it to up date and keeps saying there's no connection, which is total cr*p coz I've checked and it's at 100%. She can go on web sites like facebook etc... But when I try to up date her AVG, Windows media player or anything else like that, it totally gives up and says there's no connection. I'm sorry I'm not sure on the details of her pc, but if anyone can give me some hints and tips on how to fix this problem, I'll bloody marry you coz I'm sick of my sister going on at me about it. She had someone come out to fix it, he turned out to be cowboy and they still paid, which is why their asking me just in case you wondered.
