Can't connect my Dell D600

Okay, so I just bought a Dell Latitude D600 today and its great except for one thing. It won't connect to the internet. I have my ethernet cable going to and from my laptop and wireless router. When I was installing Norton on the laptop it connected to the internet when I plugged the ethernet cable in. But now it won't work and i've been looking for a while and saw something about the Intel PRO/Wireless thing and found that is has been installed on this laptop before. But now, theres something wrong with it and its wont let me click on anything besides exit. All I want is for my laptop to be able to work when it's not plugged into the router and i would like for the laptop to be able to work the internet. Please help

can you do ipconfig/all in the command prompt and post the results
