Using wireless router as network adapter
So has anyone ever tried it before? Im thinking in theory that it should work, I mean it transmitts on the same frequency as a network adapter or you would think it would. The only reason Im asking is someone told me it wouldnt work and right now Im unemployed and I have an old router I was wanting to try it with. Router may have to be modified a lil bit but it might work like that.

Re: Using wireless router as network adapter
You would need a network adapter just to connect to the router which would defeat the purpose of using it as a network adapter.

Re: Using wireless router as network adapter
Yea, thats kinda what I thought. Just didnt know if anyone had tried it and made it work. So you wouldnt be able to connect to it through a ethernet cabe? I just been out of work for two weeks and getting a lil stir crazy and looking for a project to keep me busy.
