Problem with my network

ok this may sound stupid but anything that uses the internet will still be useable once my internet browser stops loading websites.

i can use the browser to surf for about 2-3 hours then it cuts me off. i have scanned and found nothing but some spyware.

i am running vista home premuim. i use zone labs fire wall and AVG scanner. im using IE8 and FF both stop loading after 2-3 hours. im using cable to connect to the internet, i have a inxeq br400 router.

any sugestion would be helpfull and also is there any better firewall or Virus scanner thats free?

Boot into safe mode with networking, test the connection.

when the net stops loading or right now? also when it stops loading windows says everythings fine.

go into safemode then try to use internet?

ok i booted in safe mode networking my connections fine atm i'll update when i wake up to see if it still loads.

Your still booted into safe mode right? So it isn't fixed. That would indicate that there is a program loading at startup that is interfering with internet access.

I see that you have AVG, Windows defender, and Zonealarm running. Disable them one at a time, i would bet one of them is causing the issue. Note you may have to uninstall them to prevent them from interfering with the network.
