Westell 327W Can't add/edit MAC Address List
I have a Westell 327W DSL router that has performed flawlessly since I've had it for well over a year. I have had it hooked to my iMac w/o any issues either. I have been able to add, delete, edit the MAC address filtering with no problems until today. My son came to me saying that his DS lite would no longer connect. And sure enough it wouldn't. So I deleted the item from the MAC address list (that worked), then I tried to add it and after entering it and saving the info, it wouldn't show up. I tried restarting everything, logging in & out, the whole 9 yards. Does anybody have ANY ideas why this might be happening and how to correct it?
Thanks from a first-time poster who is NOT a networking expert. |

Re: Westell 327W Can't add/edit MAC Address List
How old is the router? These things do "wear out" over time. If a hard reset did not fix things for you, goto their website support forums and see if anyone else has had the same problem. Also you should be able to open a "ticket" with them and have them respond to you with ideas.
Lastly, let me move this to the network section for you, as the MAC issue you have is no where near the Mac problems handled here.
