getting error msg on all network connections
Guys I need your help, My problem is related to networking and windows. When I right-click for 'Properties' on the
local area connection instance within network connections I receive the message "An unexpected error occurred." and the properties page does not display and nothing happens.I searched for a solution online which was Open a command line and cd to your \windows\system32 directory Type "regsvr32 netshell.dll", and click OK in the dialog that comes up Type "regsvr32 ole32.dll", and click OK in the dialog that comes up reboot But still the same problem.I tried another solution after more search which was running sfc /scannow command, but i do not have the original xp disc.(but i do have recovery data on H: drive) I even tried restoring to old date but got msg that computer cannot be restored.I have scanned my computer for viruses and found some trojans which i have removed, but the problem still exists. Is there any way to fix it withour a re-install of windows. Thanks Last edited by ministerjee; 07-09-2009 at 04:56 PM. |

Re: getting error msg on all network connections
First you need to clean out the system before you can do anything else. Go here and start the process of removing malware from the system.
NEW INSTRUCTIONS - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help You create a new thread here http://www.techsupportforum.com/secu...-spyware-help/ and post all of the requested information. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and move on, note it in your thread. Some one from the security team will help you, they are very busy so it may take a couple of days to get a reply.
