WLAN and LAN dead
Posting for second time thanks to stupid ******* browser refresh!!!! Sorry if I miss anything....
Right, my laptop can't connect via LAN or WLAN to our tiscali siemens router. My other halfs will connect via both. Neither my xbox nor xbox 360 will connect to network, nor net. Have uninstalled both adapters, and reinstalled, nothing. Have reset the Reset TCP/IP Stack: netsh int ip reset reset.log Reset WINSOCK entries: netsh winsock reset catalog bits - nothing. IPCONFIG /ALL just brings up both media as disconnected, node type - broadcast, ip routing enabled - no, WINS proxy enabled - no, no primary DNS suffix. Have reset router a couple of times, nothing. All in all pulling hair out. How can this (vista!!) laptop connect happily, yet other 3 appliances see jack...?? All 3 were working fine yesterday. I have not updated anything... Only thing I haven't done is hard reset the router, mainly because this laptop is getting through, but also because I can't be arsed doing all my port forwards again. Any ideas?!?!?! Cheers Tony |
