Wireless Network Not Detected!
Hello Friends,
Re: Windows cannot find any additional Networks My Internet is working on Lan(ethernet) connection, no problem watsoever. Now with Wireless, I can see wireless connection enabled, checked the drivers which is working properly, disabled and installed again works fine no problem. Now, the moment I 'Connect' wireless connection, the network window pops up with message, Windows cannot find any additional Networks . I am in proper channel and my other laptop are detecting wireless network except this one. Note: I have used spybot, malware, quick heal antivirus, couple of registry cleaners but could not detect and resolve the problem. I even have ccleaner and driver scanner but no result. Laptop Details: Philips Model No: H12Y Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit operating system Intel Core T5500 1.66GHz Rgds, P4pints

Re: Wireless Network Not Detected!
Hello,
Do you have any other programs trying to search for connections? B/C I had this same problem and when the default windows program looked for wireless networks, it wouldn't find any, but then I realized there was another program installed and running that came with the wireless network card built in, I could search with that on and find it no problem. Another thing is if you know the wireless networks SSID then enter it in and try to connect. Is the SSID being broadcasted? How old is your wireless NIC? Maybe its going bad?? JeKyL |

Re: Wireless Network Not Detected!
Open up a command prompt (Start > run > cmd)
Type the following bolded commands and post the results for each affected machine. ipconfig /all Note: To post results of commands, alternate click on the top of the command prompt > edit > select all > alternate click on the top of the command prompt > edit > copy > paste in a message here. If you are on a computer that can't connect to the internet then paste the contents in a text document and save it to a portable media like a flash drive, then use an internet capable machine to post the contents.
