unable to reach a website
hi,
i am unable to reach a website! i can reach any other website except for www.cheapstingybargains.com i have tried reaching it through ie and firefox with no luck. in ie it says that the page can't be reach and in firefox it says the server can't be reached. apparently this is only happening on my computer and it is only a recent thing because i used to be able to view this site. please help if you can! thanks! |

Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt:
In the command prompt window that opens, type type the following command: TRACERT cheapstingybargains.com Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter to copy the contents to the clipboard. Paste the results in a message here. If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.

Start, Run, NOTEPAD c:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS.
Select all and copy and paste to a message here.

You did that correctly. Is this a wired connection? If so, boot in Safe Mode with Networking and see if you can access it that way. Are there any other computers on the same ISP connection? Can they connect to this site?
