Well hello to everyone.
I got a problem with my domain. I'm used on creating sites so I created a free domain from dyndns.org to publish some of them. Everything were working fine until today I woke up and I couldnt open my site. Nor me neither my friends can do it. The site is http://virustech.ath.cx and it was working perfectly until today. I asked my friend who knows some more things from me and he said to close the router for 2-3 minutes to "refresh" it. Though, that wasnt really help and I cant do anything. Even this, my brother got a laptop and he uses our router wirelessly to connect to the internet. Now he cant connect because there is a problem with DNS as the diagnose said. I read another's guy thread in here and you asked about pinging his site and getting some infos from his hosts text file. So here are my infos: # Copyright (c) 1993-2006 Microsoft Corp. # # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows. # # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each # entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should # be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name. # The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one # space. # # Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual # lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol. # # For example: # # 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server # 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host 127.0.0.1 localhost ::1 localhost And the ping: Pinging virustech.ath.cx [77.49.161.27] with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 77.49.161.27: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=64 Reply from 77.49.161.27: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=64 Reply from 77.49.161.27: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=64 Reply from 77.49.161.27: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=64 Ping statistics for 77.49.161.27: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms P.S Everything seems fine in the router as I didnt changed anything and it says that the domain works ok with my ip and also updating it normally without any problem. Please help, Sorry for bad english. Thanks Last edited by VirusTech; 06-23-2009 at 07:55 AM. |

Re: Can't connect to my dyndns domain site.
It's a kind of stupidity but after 4 hours searching on the internet I finally came up with a good guide to solve my dns and get my brother to the internet.
And the guide says: DISABLE THE F***ING FIREWALL IN ALL TIMES!
