Random Permanent Loss of all Signal?
At random intervals my laptop suddenly loses all signal, is disconnected from the internet and is from there on unable to pick up any signal from anything. The only way to regain signal is to shut down and restart my laptop, which as you can imagine is awful.
This can occur whilst I'm doing anything, be it watching a movie, music, videogames, working, etc. I've tried updating the wireless adapter drivers, and cleanup/antivirus programs and the problem still persists. I'm not sure what else I can say, but thanks for reading, hope somebody has an idea about my confusing predicament! Thanks! (the wireless adapters are "Intel(r) pro/wireless 3945ABG Network Connection" and "Realtek RTL8168B/8111B Family PC-E GBE NIC") Last edited by Hinatachan; 06-22-2009 at 02:56 PM. |

Re: Random Permanent Loss of all Signal?
See if you get disconnected with a wire.
Some things you can try: 1. Change the wireless channel 2. Move the router or computer 3. Reset the router
