AOL not connecting.[moved from other browsers]
Hello everyone,
I seem to have a problem with my AOL program, I cannot log on at all, It gets to step 2 of logging on and then shows up an error message and showing 6 solutions, I have tried 5/6 solutions, and the sixth says about the TCP/IP connection is blocked. I have looked into it and cannot find out (if that is the problem) How to solve this. I am running Vista basic so I cannot do one-click fix, So I did it manually. I rebuilt the AOL adapter and I tried to delete the ACS files and it said that the files are already in progress, I deleted the files that wern't in progress in that folder and left the ones that were (bareing in mind I closed all the programs of AOL so it shouldnt of been in progress). Any ideas on how to fix this connection problem? this is quite important for me, as I do all my work on AOL and all my favourites are on there that I need on AOL and not on any other browser. Just for additional details my ISP is AOL broadband and we are using a netgear router DG834G.
