hi guys,
i have a wireless modem for connecting to internet and i am trying to share this connection to my another computer in LAN(crossover cable) using ICS, i have done everything i could possibly do.... but it wont connect at all... please help me.. this what is did... i went to advanced properties of my internet connection under ICS i checked the two checkboxes and now after ICS got enabled my LAN connection IP address got assaigned to 192.168.0.1... now i went to client pc and assaigned the ip to 192.168.0.2 .. so now i am able to access the contens of the pc.. but my client pc cant conncet to internet.. what am i doing wrong.. what else should i do??... please help me establish internet connection on my client pc.. Remove the ICS configuration.
Configure the wired connection for automatic addressing. Reconfigure ICS. On the secondary connected PC, configure that for automatic addressing.
