sp3 has no wpa option
Hi guys, hope you can help.
I've just moved house and there is wireless available at my new place but its wpa encrypted. When I tried to connect it kept saying the network was out of range and to refresh the list. I did some research and found a solution to this problem that involved entering the network key and setting the data encryption to wpa but theres no option for wpa, only wep or disabled. Im on sp3 and I've been looking for a solution to this but im not having much luck finding anything. Im no going to be able to switch to wep as its not my equipment so its wpa or nothing. Any help will be awesome Cheers |

Re: sp3 has no wpa option
What is the make/model of your wireless card? Have you updated the driver to the latest available?

Re: sp3 has no wpa option
It looks like that network card does not support WPA, only WEP and no encryption. If you want to be able to use WPA encryption then you will have to go buy a new card that supports it.
