Need help with Device Manager & NIC, can't find help anywhere!!

Hi, I've got a problem that needs a mind.

My Hardware in Device Manager fails to uninstall.
Please follow this link to get an exact idea what my problem is.
Please look at the first image on the thread. I have the exact same problem concerning hardware removal : USB > Ethernet. Hardware conflict errors.

I have a different NIC, but my problem is exactly the same. I can't find any forum or site that could help me with this problem.

I click on uninstall and it comes up with a message saying "Failed to uninstall device. The device may be required to boot up the computer"
I can't remove these devices. Not in Safe Mode, not in the registry.
I don't want to reinstall my OS since it's running fine with the "problem hardware disabled", but it's an xxxx xxxxx knowing your PC is not as it should be.

I've got tun mini ports, ethernet cards and packet scheduler mini ports that show up in Device Manager. I disabled them since I don't use those NIC's anymore, they are removed from my PC case.
I need them removed from my OS.

The problem arose when my ISP asked me to change network cards and use other drivers, so I did. They screwed up my system.
I've got a Via Rhine III Nic, and a router connected to it. My connection runs fine. I need the old hardware out of Device Manager.

If anyone could help me please do, send me a Private Message or post the solution please.

Thank you. Cheers!

Have you tried removing the offending hardware devices in safe mode after also removing the internet connection configurations requiring the hardware? When windoze restarts it should re-config.
