vpn problem

hi all
i am working in company having 4 branch office .Our main office had database server .all branch office connect to main office to update data.to main office server . WE use hamachi to do these job. but hamachi is slow. and we have only 1mbps internet connection from orbit through satellite and we cannot upgrade it because our main office is in remote location .so what other vpn like software or device is avaible so i can connect them all to have good speed. any advice will be greatly appriciate.

If the link is 1mbit, there is no magic formula for increasing the speed, other than simply buying better service.
