desktop can't see my upgraded wireless network
Hi-
I upgraded to a Linksys wrt310n router. My laptop works great. My desktop can't see the network. I'm online wirelessly with an unsecured network on my desktop. When I click "refresh" on my desktop, it can't find my network. But it can find about 10 other networks. ??? I used to have a -b linksys. My desktop (Dell) is only about 4 years old. Is it already too old for an -n? thanks |

Re: desktop can't see my upgraded wireless network
It should work, however you may experience issues if you use newer encryption.
I'm at a loss why you don't even see it. Did you configure the router to transmit only 802.11n? If so, that would preclude the desktop from connecting.
