tight vnc help

Hi I trying to connect to my desktop remotely. I have all the prot forwarded on both ends of where i am connecting. My issue is i have several computers i need to remote to and idk how to distinguish how to differ the connections of the computer when i type the ip into the viewers

You need to change the virtual screen assignment to be unique for each connection. That's set in the server, then when you connect with VNC, you specify the logical screen. You'll have to open more ports, because the logical screens each use a unique port.

Screen 0 - 5900
Screen 1 - 5901
Screen 2 - 5902
etc.

Now my next question is what the heck do i type into the viewer to connect. Do i type the ip or domain name. If it is domain name where or how do i find that??

In the HOST name field you type in name:number.

name is the name of the remote computer.
number is the screen number from 0 through 9.

This is spelled out right on the client page next to the name box.

Ok that makes since but i dont see where i can change the name in either the viewer or server options?
